Big Bang

€2,500.00

2025 · 100 × 120 × c. 15 cm · Acrylic, oil and mixed media on canvas · Pure White Series

Layers of paper and plaster open from within, like an organism caught mid-breath. The central volume is built as an inverted diamond, and its upward pull gives the surface a sense of pressure about to be released. Faint metallic and reddish glints appear in the folds. Big Bang is less an image of an explosion than of the instant just before it.
