Four vertices project from the surface, one for each lunar phase. The structure is built from repurposed materials and paper, then worked in acrylic and oil, so that volume carries the image. Its shadows are never fixed: they lengthen, soften and shift with the light, so the piece changes through the day like the moon it depicts.
